I once worked for a General Cinema back in the day and my favorite thing was when Orca pig beast women stuffed in their stretchy spandex would bark at me with their swinging sweaty jowls and would order an extra large popcorn and ask me to make sure to "layer the butter" (shudder) layer the butter... oh the things that popcorn got layerd with from that day forward... ah….that does sound pretty dead on..thanks for the insight!

And bad direction. Instead of filling in the details with dialog or editing the scene to be more understandable. See, hollywood people know that there is an unsaid rule that if you dumb things down, simplify them, and make them shiny and cool sounding, you'll sell more tickets. Dumb people like to not have to think about things when they go to movies... and we've got a LOT of really stupid people around here. Actually, it has less to do with the actual producers/directors/writers as it does with the people that watch the movie.

ANYWAY... Here is a question for you guys..maybe Pat directly..WHY is it that in any Hollywood movie with a computer in it, whenever the camera zooms in on the screen and someone is pushing keys it makes these "high-tech" beeping sounds?!..Same shit when the camera zooms on the computer screen and the downloading file bar is making a noise as well.
