Yeah... especially since the surrounding 15-20 lochs are all interconnected underground by series' of tunnels and caves and such...

Only really effective way to prove nessy doesn't exist would be simultaneously using a sonar/radar net and using a series of mini-subs to monitor the caves while the bouy's were pinging the area, then use a high frequency sound pulse eminator to piss off every living thing in the water...

If there's anything big and living in there, that'd find it, heh.

Too bad it's just some tree limbs anyway.

I would have to go Dragonlance on the MMORPG tip...
there seems to be some sort of animated movie in the works for that series..

As for the million dollars. HALF in the bank to accrue intrest (gotta side with Pat a bit on this one as I am a family man as well..) HOWEVER the other half of the million I would definitly use to finance retardedly elaborate practical jokes here in Japan.

not so sure exactly what they would entail but an associate and I have been toying with the idea of purchasing gorilla suits for quite awhile...

Lewis would most certainly have to be involved...

on a side note, how much do ye reckon it would cost to drain Loch Ness and prove without a shadow of a doubt that there is no god damn sea monster?
probably WAY more then a million clams aye?

We'll have to put that on the list of potential topics... that could definitely end up being a fun one to play with.

As to Pern... meh. I could never get too into the setting because it was too dramatic and emotional... like trying to Play D&D with a bunch of Divorced women or something.

Thanks for yet another exciting episode.
As for the topic, I'd like to add my own 2 cents. I'm a big "Dragonriders of Pern" fan. Several years ago, a DoP game was in development but for whatever reason fell into the Sarlak pit of Development Hell (I think it's good friends with Duke Nukem Forever). But I would help invest to get maybe Bethesda or Blizzard to develop an open world ala Oblivion (it can be MMORPG but personally not a big fan of the genre) style RPG set in that world. How cool would it be to raise dragons!?
What properties (books or films) would you guys like to help develop into killer games?
