Alright everyone, calm down! Don’t go screaming away in a panic, but it’s true: we’re going on hiatus until the 7th of January. Why? Well, it’s not actually Pat’s fault (although I sure Pat would have screwed us out of more shows getting out). The reasons are simple: we want to give you a better show, a show we can be even more proud of. Not that we don’t love this show, but we think it could be so much more. We can give you more than just our mindless blathering, but an honest to god good product that you can use.
So here is our idea and new theme… we want to help you and us be better geeks. You see, we and probably most of you listeners, are geeks, but none of us knows everything about all geek topics. So we want to introduce geeks and non-geeks to topics, hobbies, and ideas maybe never before explored. We’ll give you a run down of it’s all about, useful links and books, tips, interviews, guest hosts, and whatever it takes to give you a crash course. A Geek’s Guide to <Fill in the Blank>, if you will. We’ll still be the same snarky hosts you love to listen to, but now we learn while we have fun! And wasn’t that just the best when you were a kid? Shut up, it was.
We’re taking this time off so we can re-tool and record a backlog of episodes to make the release schedule more Pat-proof. Is there a topic you would like to see us cover? This new show is for you as much as it is us. Let us know! In the mean time, this channel won’t be totally empty. We are going to finish up our vs. brackets and get them out and we might throw in the occasional Links and S*&%. So stay tuned for great things! Later!

damn….another hiatus. Ah well, all things need to recharge their batteries aye? I’m sure you’ll be back as sure as there are 250,000 people in Kiberia who are HIV positive.
Again, you guys have provided us all with constant and insightful observations and kept at least Lewis and I in stitches. For us displaced foreigners I think one thing that we really like about your show is that it is a way for us to keep in touch with the things we loved and left in the states. The fact that you bitch and degrade that which we hate and pinpoint the exact reasons we left gives us a sense of camaraderie (fuck that took me forever to spell that stupid word) Jesus….
Anyway, you guys seriously are not getting the exposure and praise you deserve and let me say a simple thank you.
I really hope to hear more and am awaiting the day when the podwaves once again echo with your unique and refreshing brand of hate and love.
